Arte Lisboa can count on the illustrious patronage of His Excellency President Jorge Sampaio to distinguish this initiative of the Portuguese cultural scene.
Arte Lisboa 2005 also aims to be an opportunity-providing an event for major and institutional collectors and patrons of the arts, who have been growing in numbers at recent editions of the exhibition. The interconnection of companies and contemporary art production is one of the Arte Lisboa organisers’ most prized goals.

This is why the Lisbon Art Collectors Club is opening this year and will accept offers of 10,000, 20,000 or 30,000 euros for works on display at the event. In return, bidders will be entitled to free institutional advertising with their logo and name on the catalogue and at all initiatives promoting and advertising the event.
